ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Check the conference programme for the timing of the General abstracts presentations session (17/02/2017). Presentations should be in English only for 5-8 minutes for presentation plus 2-3 minutes discussion per presenter. It is expected that speakers prepare their presentation in the form of a MS PowerPoint presentation which can be presented from a regular office PC with audio capability and connected to a regular LCD projector. Please disclose any financial or commercial interest linked to the content of your presentation in your second slide.

If other software or hardware (e.g., DVD player) is required, please inform the conference team via the contact page.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Poster presenters are expected to remain near their posters at break times, and especially during the Professors’ Poster Round on 17/02/2017 for their 3-5 minutes poster-side presentation plus time for a couple of questions. The poster display boards will be available from 15-18 February 2017. The only restrictions for the posters concern the optimum size which is A0 (84 x 119 cm) – portrait. Posters should be written in English.

Please ensure you leave enough time to print the posters prior to the Conference. Posters not collected at the end of the conference will be discarded.

AWARDS FOR BEST POSTER AND BEST ORAL PRESENTATION

General abstract contributions to the Conference will be considered for an award. The selection process is based on the abstract review process and the judges’ evaluation of the authors’ actual contribution during the Conference, whether it is for a poster or an oral presentation. Invited presentations are excluded from this award.
